Mini Lush Haul

Hello my lovely's! Today I'm gonna be sharing with you these lovely Lush goodies, which I actually got from the Boxing day sales I know, it's a bit late haha!

But nonetheless I hope you enjoy reading.

So I picked up from the Sale, the Firecracker gift set, which includes all the products shown below! So There's Intergalactic, Candy Mountain, and The Experimenter. And then I picked up 'The Comforter' shower cream which I adore it smells incredible, so if you have tried it in bubble bar form and loved that you will adore this scent! (this wasn't in the sale though, I paid full price for the 250g bottle)

The Comforter shower cream is the only thing I have used so far but it is delicious! You almost want to eat it, it smells so good haha! It is a lovely purple-y pink colour which definitely did draw me to it! I find when I use it with a body puff or loofa it creates so many bubbles and you actually think it's going to stain your body a purple colour but rest assured it definitely won't and smells so good you wouldn't even care if you were purple! (I'm joking of course!)
The 250g bottle can be found here: The bottle I have was £9.75

So from Left to right is: Intergalactic, Candy Mountain, and The Experimenter, The first is a Bath bomb, so just needs to be popped in the bath and then you will see all the colours transform your bath into something pretty cool! The middle one is a bubble bar so you break off a bit - if you want that is, and then use that under the running water to create loads of bubbles! It also smells like snow Fairy one of my favourites from Lush too! And then the last one is a Bath bomb meaning it fizzes in the bath and whatever colour it is, is usually the colour it turns you bath!

I believe the firecracker gift set was £6.48 which is a great bargain for these products!
But sadly this one was a Christmas set only as it had candy mountain in, and that's limited edition for christmas! so I'm sorry if you were interested in it.

If you want to find other bath bombs here are some alternatives!

Fave Drugstore Lipsticks

I wanted to make a post today about my favourite drugstore lipsticks, mainly because I needed some pink and peachy lipsticks in my lipstick holders ready for the Spring/Summer season I know I am aware I'm super eager but after the Festive season I like to wear all my pink/peachy/nude lipsticks all the rest of the year round!

So not everyone has the budget for expensive makeup so I wanted to show you my favourite lipsticks from the drugstore, so I have so many favourites but these are one's I've been super duper obsessed with for a while now and with the weather cheering up (ironically it's gross weather today, but we'll ignore that) I thought I would share them with you so enjoy!

You can Find them here:
Rimmel Kate Moss In 38 - www.boots.com
L'Oreal Collection Privee Lipstick In Eva's Nude - www.boots.com
Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 101 - www.boots.com

Firstly the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 38, is one I've adored throughout the Summer months but I have been using it ever since, I actually have a haul post when I bought them if you want to see I will link it below and I also have a Kate Moss Lipstick collection as they are absolutely some of my fave drugstore lipsticks. I will also link that below if you want to see them! It is so creamy but does last a considerable amount of time on the lips without needing to re apply too often. Which I love as also this colour looks so natural and gorgeous but it is such good value for money like all the Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks you can check the range out here!

The Next is my trusty Eva's Nude lipstick from L'Oreal now these are just a game changer and the pigmentation is super good considering they are so moisturising, they feel slightly glossy but more like a lipstick than a gloss and they can add such a light colour to the lips or can be builable but either way they are such stunning lipsticks I have also tried J-Lo's nude but have lost it so I need to repurchase that soon too!

Last but not least is my Rimmel Kate Moss in 101 which is a nice pink shade it's a perfect Spring/Summer pink and as it is matte it lasts ages on the lips, also with these lipsticks from Rimmel, the Kate Moss range, they all smell so nice and I know that isn't why you should buy them but who want's an unpleasant lipstick scent?! No one! This one smells like watermelon to me and I am a sucker for products that smell sweet and this shade just suits so many people.

There is also a new range of Kate Moss lipsticks for Rimmel which are a collection of Nude lipsticks, which I am super eager to try and maybe you are too! You can browse the range Here!

Current Drugstore Palette Favourites

Makeup Palettes take up quite a big proportion of my makeup collection, I love trying lots of different colours, mattes, shimmers glitters, I love them all so I think this is why I have quite a few palettes now with various colours and finishes to them.

I want to focus today on my current palette faves from the 'Drugstore' and I will hopefully do a high end version of this post soon so watch this space! So Enjoy Lovely's!
Where you can find them:

The Balm Nude Tude Palette - here
Makeup Revolution Redemption Iconic 3 Palette - here
Makeup Revolution Flawless Matte Palette - here

My First fave is a hard one to categorise as I wouldn't say it was a drugstore palette but I bought it from Superdrug which is a drugstore health and beauty shop in the UK.  It is the Balm's Nude Tude palette, and it is sold on Superdrug, intact all of these palettes
It has lots of beautiful shades and has a wide variety for a palette, it has a mixture of shades which is great for someone like me who uses neutral shades a lot and wants to experiment with new eye shadow shades! If you want to see what the inside looks like as I forgot to take a photo of the inside for this post you can see it here in my review of it!

The second is the Makeup revolution palette ahh these shades are divine and are so pretty on so many eye colours especially the shimmery ones. It's supposed to be just like Urban Decay's Naked 3 palette, which I have never tried and I didn't know if the pink toned shades would suit my eyes so I bought this one as a dupe for only £4 yes, you did hear that right! It's incredible for that price tag and the pigmentation is amazing... I don't need the Naked 3 while I have this! The palette has a mixture of shimmers, glitters and matte shades so perfect for creating so many pinky feminine eye makeup looks!

The Last but not least is also from Makeup Revolution can you tell I love there palettes...? It's called the Flawless Mattes palette and you guessed it, they are all matte shades, this was the perfect edition to my eye shadow collection as I have so so SO many shimmery and glittery eyeshadows but always end up using the same Mac or Urban Decay shades for my crease or transition colours, and I wanted to change that and this has so many different colours and different variations of each colours so it's perfect for creating simple eyes, but also you can use it for intensive eye makeup looks too!

Best Makeup Products I've Discovered in 2015

I have wanted to share a favourite products of 2015 for about two weeks or so now but I thought I could just share my favourite makeup items I have loved in 2015, as this may help a few of you to decide on any new makeup you're wanting to try!

You can browse or buy them here:
I have listed all of my favourites here and these clickable links should take you straight to them!
MaxFactor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink - www.boots.com
Benefit High Beam Highlighter - www.boots.com
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in Black www.boots.com
Mac Lipstick in Velvet Teddy - www.selfridges.com
Mac Lipstick in Honey Love - www.selfridges.com
Mac Pro Long Wear Concealer - www.selfridges.com
Mac Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle - www.selfridges.com
Benefit Rockateur Blush - www.boots.com

Firstly, I adore the Max Factor Creme puff blush in Seductive pink, it adds the prettiest flush of colour to the cheeks and I find it's absolutely perfect for Spring/Summer I really enjoyed using it towards the end of Summer where I wore it so much, it's amazing as you don't need much and it looks like I have barely used any!

I also have recently re-discovered my high beam high lighter from Benefit which I used every time I went out somewhere where I wanted to look a bit more glowy, this adds the most beautiful sheen to the cheeks but doesn't look too much, it's just the perfect highlighter for me and I really like the applicator too!

Now if you don't expect this product in a lot of 'products I've been loving' then where have you been? This is the most talked about mascara I swear in a lot of years! especially this last one! It's the Lash Sensational mascara and it just does everything you could want in a mascara, it adds length like no other mascara does for me but also adds volume and separates my lashes so well! I'm in love!

I have chosen two Mac lipsticks as these are my newest and most loved this year! I have chosen Velvet Teddy and Honey Love, Velvet Teddy just looks amazing on everyone I think, I haven't seen anyone it doesn't suit and it's just a browny nude lip colour, but its matte, it's not drying though and just looks so classy with any makeup look!
Honey Love is more of a lighter nude but it's so complementary on my skin tone and when you want something that isn't bright or in your face, this one is lovely and the formula of both of these lipsticks is amazing, so creamy not drying at all- but they are both matte lipsticks!

The Next one is also a Mac product which is the Pro Long Wear Concealer, I have loved this throughout 2015, it's been so amazing for under the eyes it's thick so covers everything you may want to hide but doesn't crease on me when I set it, it just covers all my under eye imperfections and I'm so impressed with it, I have many favourite concealers but I love this one for covering those under eye bags!

I could not do this post without mentioning more than one highlighter, so here is the second which is the Mac Soft and Gentle mineralised skin finish, now this is just AMAZING! It's the prettiest gold-y looking highlighter but doesn't come out too gold on the skin its a perfect in the middle of a white/gold highlighter and it's just the most incredible highlighter and you need the smallest bit, it's going to last me a life time haha! I have really gotten into highlighting in this past year, and I cannot be without this!

Lastly for this post is my most favourite blush colour ever, which is by Benefit, It is a rose gold colour but is a mixture between a pinky/purple blush but it's just so beautiful and creates a gorgeous rose-y cheek, it's also amazing for just below your cheek bones as it excentuates them and they look super glowy too as this has a nice glittery sheeny highlight to it as well. I am so obsessed with it!

Now I'm sure I will be loving these all throughout this year too as I am addicted to them all at the moment!
What are your favourite makeup products of 2015?!

Brand Focus: Soap and Glory Makeup

So a few weeks ago I did a Drugstore makeup haul and I included these two Soap and Glory products in that haul, and since I hadn't ever tried any makeup from them before I thought a blog post about them was in order!

If you want to check out my Drugstore Makeup haul you can find it on my blog here
So the Two products I picked out were the Kick Ass Concealer which is a concealer duo with two different concealers it has a peachy/orangey coloured one which I think is meant for use under the eyes as it covers dark areas very well. The other shade is a yellowy concealer which can be used to cover blemishes and any other imperfections. It also has a powder in the top section as there are two different compartments to the concealer pot, the powder is on the top layer and it is to set the concealer I'm guessing, I've only used the powder once with the concealers and it worked great but I'm loving using yellow powders to set my under eye concealer as it really brightens that area (which I really need at the moment!!) Overall this product is lovely and I love it for the under eyes but for blemishes I think I prefer using a liquid concealer like my trusty collection concealer which you can find here.

The second is the infamous Brow Archery! Mine is in the shade Love is Blonde which is a great match for my eye brows, as I find some are too dark or too light for my eye brows but this one is a perfect in-between, I love how natural the wax side is and its really good for creating longer tail to your brows. I also like the pencil side for filling them in but usually if I'm going out somewhere special but for natural everyday brows I just usually use the waxy side! I love how great this is and it's a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz which you can also find it here if you're interested in it!

Finally I've tried some Soap and Glory Makeup and I am so impressed! For a drugstore brand they are amazing! I can't wait to see what else they have to offer! If you haven't tried anything from them I really recommend these two products!

You can buy these soap and glory products here:

Kick Ass Concealer - www.boots.com
Brow Archery - www.boots.com

Have you tried any of these two products?!
Can anyone recommend any more Soap and Glory Items to me, makeup related or not I would love to know what you love from them!

Most Loved Eye Products of the Last Year

Let's start with: these are favourites from last year but they will definitely be through this year too, I am so addicted to using all of these makeup bits and that will carry on for as long as I can't find anything I love more, and right now it seems impossible that I will!

So these have all been very talked about items, so I have the Naked Smoky Palette to the Left, then two of the Lash Sensational Mascara's in the middle and then to the left I have my Mac Warm Neutrals Palette. These are all my most favouritest  eye makeup items of the last year and I'm sure I will be loving them this year in 2016, which may I add feels super odd to actually be saying...

I had never been a mascara junkie, I had always stuck to the same mascara, which when I think about it was good but didn't give me a lot of thickness too my lashes and they didn't look as good as I wanted them too, so I tried the Maybelline Lash Sensational in March of last year and I haven't looked back since! This is why I have included two as you can see the one on the left side the packaging looks very well love compared to my super shiny one on the right. I am currently on my third and I am so obsessed with it and I don't know if anything else can compare!

The Palette to the left is the Naked Smoky Palette and in the last few months of 2015, I had been using it daily, even if it was just a little bit of colour on my eye lids, it is amazing for creating those dramatic, sultry eyes and I feel like it has a mixture of day and night shades, a lovely one for experimenting with autumn eye looks, there's a festive gold and a champagne-y pink glitter, it has navy's, purples, silvers the list goes on. The possibility of difference looks you can make with it is endless! It's stunning!

The palette on the right hand side, is also a beautiful and luxury palette. It's the Mac Warm Neutrals palette and it has the most easy to apply warm shades which I think are perfect for autumn and summer as I tend to wear orangey copper eyes in the summer time, it I'm going out at night on holiday, or in the winter time when I want something quite warm glittery and festive. It has a lovely mixture of mattes and glittery/shimmery shades which I feel like is the only downfall in most of the Naked palettes as I love matte colours to deepen up the eye look and sometimes I can go a bit overboard with the glitter so I need matte shades to tone the eyes down. The Mac one is amazing for this as there is such a range of both and they will all complement each other, you don't need to think too much about the colours not matching as all of them seem too whatever ones I use together!

Naked Smoky Palette - www.houseoffraser.co.uk £38.00
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara - www.superdrug.com £7.99
Mac Warm Neutrals Palette - www.selfridges.com  £65.00

These are my all round most loved and most used Eye Products of 2015 and I'm sure will be featured in lots of blog posts in 2016 I hope this has been an enjoyable read for you!

Do we have any of the same favourites?

Bourjois Health Mix Serum Or Bourjois Health Mix Foundation?! -Which is Better?

So today I wanted to do a comparison post on the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum and the Healthy Mix Foundation as I am always getting asked which one do I prefer? Which one is better? etc.
So I thought what better way to awnser the questions surrounding these two Bourjois products, I'd do a comparison on the two!

Where to Buy:
UK - Bourjois healthy mix Serum - www.boots.com
Bourjois healthy mix Foundation - www.boots.com
Anywhere else: Bourjois healthy mix Serum - www.feelunique.com
Bourgeois healthy mix Foundation - www.feelunique.com
Cost:
So lets start off with the prices, the one on the left which is the Healthy Mix Serum is the most expensive by £1 on the other one - it is £10.99 whereas the one of the right which is the Healthy Mix Foundation retails for £9.99. The only obvious differences on the outside are the packaging, the Serum has a lot more writing on the front and also has a red lid, but the foundation has a red pump and a clear lid, which is probably to help differentiate between the two when buying whichever one you want in your local Boots or Superdrug! It also has a lot less writing and they both clear state 'Healthy Mix Serum' and 'Healthy Mix Foundation' I really love the packaging on both though!

Longevity of the product:
With these two products both tend to last quite well throughout the day considering they are both a dewy but not over the top finish, they both don't slide around my face and last a reasonable amount of time before I need to reapply, this is only usually to cover spots or blemishes which have reappeared on my face. They both last the same amount of time in terms of use, probably from everyday wear they last around a month for me which I think is good but to be honest this depends how good my skin is how much I will need to use etc.

Coverage:
The coverage of them both is the main difference between them. The Healthy Mix Serum is the one with a light coverage it doesn't cover too many blemishes but little imperfections it does cover, they are both good foundations for covering redness as the colours are quite yellowy toned I think, and yellow helps to counteract redness which I have a lot of so I love them! The Healthy Mix Foundation is the one with a medium coverage but it can be built up as the foundations do not in the slightest look cakey, which is my favourite thing about them both as dry patches and blemishes can make most of my foundations look cakey and not look as flawless as I want but these are both amazing.

Other Questions I have been asked:

Are they both the same amount of product?
Yes! Believe it or not they are! The Healthy Mix Foundation bottle is a lot heavier and it the bottle actually looks a lot wider, but they are actually the same which I was quite shocked about as they don't look the same but they are both are!

Which one lasts the longest?
I would say they both last quite well and very similarly but as the Serum is a lighter coverage, obviously that will come off quicker than the extra coverage one as the Foundation is more of a medium, build-able coverage.

Which one do you prefer?
I actually prefer the Healthy Mix Foundation the most as it offers that little bit more extra coverage which for me is important as I usually have quite a few blemishes and under eye bags to cover up so I like the Healthy Mix Foundation more for giving me that extra confidence boost knowing that everything is covered on my face that I want to be covered!

Overall thoughts:
If you're looking to buy one of them, I would recommend the Healthy Mix Serum for if you want a lighter natural coverage, this one would be great for you. The Healthy Mix Foundation I would recommend if you want to cover a few more blemishes or imperfections, it is a bit thicker than the other one but they both do not look cakey in the slightest which is the best part about them! The cost of my favourite one is actually the cheapest one so that's a bonus for me but £1 difference really isn't a lot! But to be hones they are super similar the only difference I find when applying them is the serum feels a lot lighter and less thicker than the Healthy Mix Foundation. But if you want to try any of these base it on the coverage you want as they are both practically the same apart from one being a light coverage and one being more of a medium coverage.

Hope this was helpful!
Have you tried any Bourjois Foundations?
