Makeup products I'm Obsessed with this month!

I am going to be sharing with you three items (all makeup products, surprise surprise!) I have literally not stopped over the past month or so.

So this month I have been loving trying a few different makeup products in my collection, which have been sadly pushed aside, from me buying so much makeup lately, OOPS. but it's easily done! -you can never have enough am I right?!

Products Featured:
Chanel 'La Mysterieuse' - www.johnlewis.com
Sleek Matte Me 'Birthday Suit' - www.superdrug.com
Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof - www.superdrug.com

The only product I had been yet to try before in this photograph was the waterproof lash sensational mascara, as I had already absolutely loved the non waterproof version, but now the weather is hotter my itchy/watery/hayfever-y eyes definitely do not!

The first product is actually this beautifully packaged Chanel lipstick called 'La Mysterieuse' which unfortunately I have lost the swatch picture of it so if you are curious to see the colour you can find it featured in an older blog post of mine here. It is the prettiest shade which I would describe as a purple-y red pink shade and I find it so hard to wear red shades but on the lips it is a gorgeous in-between of red/pink on me and I am so happy with it and the formula is so silky considering its a matte lip stick and I adore it!

The second you may have seen in my liquid lipsticks blog post, and it is the much talked about Sleek Matte Me lipstick in the shade 'Birthday Suit' it is so pretty and has been compared and is said to be a dupe for 'Dolce K' by kylie cosmetics. It is quite pinky on me, which I'm not sure is because of my natural lip colour, but I think it is such a pretty shade perfect for Spring/Summer weather hence why I have been using it a lot throughout the past month!

The last is the mascara, the lash sensational-non waterproof has been my favourite mascara for around 6 months I would say could be less or more but thats my rough estimate. And I had absolutely no fault in it at all, until my eyes were affected by the ever so dreaded hay fever which I experience everytime the weather gets nicer! It's annoying but I'm so glad I tried the waterproof because it DOES NOT BUDGE! It is soooo good and is definitely replacing my normal lash sensational, the only downside is that it takes me twice as long to get off as non waterproof mascara does, but it works even better than my normal lash sensational as my lashes hold so much better and the curl lasts me literally all day. If you have been wondering whether to try it... then do it, it beats any high end mascara I have tried too, and for only £7.99!

What are some amazing makeup products you've recently discovered?!

My Everyday Makeup products | March 2016

I am a big fan of trying new makeup and lately I have tried quite a few new things, I wanted to share my everyday makeup products as I have been loving this combination of makeup for nearly a month now and I don't see it changing for a while!

Firstly, I just want to apologise for being so absent from my blog recently, life has just got in the way. But I can't wait to send lots of new blog posts your way so watch this space! So enjoy this post!

So for foundation and concealer I have been loving the cheaper Highstreet/drugstore base makeup products as high end foundations and concealers can really break the bank and I think sometimes the cheaper version can work just as well it's just a case of trial and error.
The two I am loving are the Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation as it has a really nice full coverage and helps to cover up blemishes, it covers a lot so it's a great one for covering acne, but when I have some blemishes which you can still see that is where I apply the collection concealer, this one is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which I'm sure you know about especially if you're from the UK!

I have been loving using my Makeup Revolution Contour Palette next and I am super obsessed with using this, there is the most gorgeous cool toned colour perfect which I use for contouring my pale skin it's amazing and makes it look like I have cheekbones without looking fake. And I also love the banana shade in the palette for setting my under eye makeup. I am such a huge fan of Makeup Revolution they make the most amazing affordable makeup and they have definitely been one of my most reached for drugstore brands for makeup this year!

I then apply my blush which is the Benefit Rockateur which is a pretty rose goldy shade which has a bit of shimmer, I love it and it's definitely one of my fave products from Benefit. It is a lovely flush when applied and just makes me feel like I look so much healthier with this rosy glow on my cheeks!

I then took, my favourite product at the moment, the Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter from The Balm, it is just incredible, so pigmented and gives the prettiest intense highlight ah it's something I cannot live without in my makeup routine at the moment and a few days ago when I was in a rush and didn't apply it I missed wearing it all day! It is a lovely colour too, the perfect mix between cream/gold like a champagne colour, but it just makes me feel so glowy and I think it just makes my makeup every day to be honest, and when it catches the light it's just beautiful! if you love to glow then try this girls!

Lastly I just applied lots of coats of the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara yes it is by far my favourite, and it always just adds so much length which I definitely need. I need to try the waterproof one though as I find waterproof mascara's keep a curl better and I don't think any mascara could beat this one but I way as well give it a go!

Also I would love recommendations on makeup products you're loving too!

Is there one makeup product you use everyday without fail?!

Battle of the blushes - My favourites

I have tried and tested a lot of blushes throughout my time of being obsessed with makeup and I thought it would be nice to share my favourites as this is the time of year I start using blush more and the weather is getting a little nicer!

The Blushes in the picture above:

I am not usually the biggest blush fan usually, I only really use bronzer most of the time but recently in the past year or so, I have found these three blushes which I am in love with, and have been since so I thought I'd share my favourites as I never thought I could suit blush but I have found the perfect ones for me!

The first I will tell you about is the Benefit Rockateur Blush which is the biggest one in the picture to the left and it's so complementary towards my skin tone, I had wanted to try a rose gold-y coloured blush for ages after seeing so many people talk about the Nars blush in 'orgasm' so I decided to try the Benefit rocketeur which I picked up in duty free before my last holiday, this past summer and it's been used so much since and I haven't even hit near the pan which makes me so happy!

It retails for £23.50 but it's probably my favourite blush ever on me which is a huge claim but I'm always reaching for it and I don't think many blushes can come close for the love I have for this one.

The next blush I have is the Sleek Blush in Rose Gold which is on the bottom of the photo I took. I really love this as a spring/summer blush it's a lot more summery than the others as it looks quite bright, I wouldn't say it's bright but it's a lot more of a flush on your cheeks and is very pigmented so a light hand is definitely needed with this product! I don't really use it in any other months apart from spring and summer as most of the time I don't want to look rosy because I have quite a lot of redness from blemishes on my skin and I don't want to bring out the redness after I've covered it up if you see what I mean. It's gorgeous and a perfect shade if you love your pinks. It also has lovely shimmers in it, they are noticeable but aren't over the top which I was worried about at first but this blush just adds a little bit of shimmer which creates a healthy glow.

This blush is the cheapest one at £4.49 which is amazing for the pigmentation and quality of this blush! It can be bought from Superdrug or Boots if you are in the UK.

The last which is obviously in the right corner of the photo is the Max Factor Creme Puff blush in Seductive Pink. It's a gorgeous in-between of a pink/mauve blush it is super natural on my skin tone and lasts for a long time throughout the day- like the other two blushes mentioned. I haven't tried any other products from Max factor apart from a foundation when I tried this and it's made me think that I definitely need to try more from them as this is a gorgeous colour and complements my skin so much, whether I have a tan or not I would use this!

This one retails for £8.99 which I think is a fair price but if I didn't know how good it was I probably wouldn't have bought it but as I bought it in a 3 for 2 offer in Boots a while back I got it and I'm so glad I did!

I really want to try a few more high end blushes so what are your favourites? I'm tempted to try the Nars Blush in Love Joy and the Charlotte Tilbury blush in First Love, which I have linked below if you are intrigued to what they look like!

Brows For Every Budget

I love having full eyebrow! I just love the appearance of them especially on my face shape, I have tried and tested plenty of eye brow kits and eye shadow shades to fill in my eyebrows and I thought I would share with you my favourite for achieving natural and full eyebrows from a low to higher budget!

Now I adore each of these palettes and think the products are amazing quality so they would all be amazing, I have naturally dark-ish blonde hair! So I usually have the use quite light shades for my brows as I think this suits me best I will be taking you though the shades I also use in particular in each of the palettes! So Enjoy!

Seventeen Brow Kit - here at www.boots.com
I really enjoy using this palette on days where I want something quick and simple, this little palette is so useful as it has a mini brush and an eyebrow pencil so this is really handy for travelling and on the go! (although all of these are really!) It comes with a wax on the left hand side and the brow powder in the middle it is quite a mid toned brown colour but I can get away with it with my hair colour, although it's super easy for my eyebrows to look too much for me as I am heavy handed so I need a light hand when applying this, but don't get me wrong, it's a lovely colour when applied. It also comes with the white shade on the right which is perfect for highlighting the brow bone if you do so wish! I think this is so great and affordable at only £5.99!

Mac Quad - Omega and Woodwinked - here at www.selfridges.com
The next brow powder I use is this eye shadow from Mac which is called 'Omega' now I first discovered this after watching many YouTube videos where beauty guru's would use this shade if they had blonde to light brow hair and it looked amazing, so I had to try it myself and it just creates a really natural eyebrow colour and is so easy to create the appearance of thicker or fuller brows as this eyeshadow can be built up and doesn't straight away give you crazy eyebrows as the colour is light but not too light for filling in my eyebrows so I think this is great, however I do not use the other shade as I only use that on my eyes! This eyeshadow on it's own retails for £10 from Mac.

Omega - here
Woodwinked - here
(woodwinked not used as a brow shade by the way it is a shimmery gold!)

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette - here at www.houseoffraser.co.uk
Lastly but definitely not least is my Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 palette, now this is so versatile and is so good as it has basically every eye brow shade you could need and I love using this as a palette for my eye shadow as well as an almost everyday essential for filling in my eye brows. I just find it has every neutral eye shadow shade I would need and it's just a bonus that it has my perfect shade for filling in my eyebrows which is called 'Frisk' as you can probably tell because I have hit the pan quite a bit now! I think this has such a variety of shades so I would say it's literally a perfect eyebrow palette! even though it's an eyeshadow palette it's perfect as it's basically a 2 in 1! The only downside is the price at £23 but it can be used in so many ways and with Urban Decay products you get what you pay for! The quality is amazing!

Best Makeup Products I've Discovered in 2015

I have wanted to share a favourite products of 2015 for about two weeks or so now but I thought I could just share my favourite makeup items I have loved in 2015, as this may help a few of you to decide on any new makeup you're wanting to try!

You can browse or buy them here:
I have listed all of my favourites here and these clickable links should take you straight to them!
MaxFactor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink - www.boots.com
Benefit High Beam Highlighter - www.boots.com
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in Black www.boots.com
Mac Lipstick in Velvet Teddy - www.selfridges.com
Mac Lipstick in Honey Love - www.selfridges.com
Mac Pro Long Wear Concealer - www.selfridges.com
Mac Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle - www.selfridges.com
Benefit Rockateur Blush - www.boots.com

Firstly, I adore the Max Factor Creme puff blush in Seductive pink, it adds the prettiest flush of colour to the cheeks and I find it's absolutely perfect for Spring/Summer I really enjoyed using it towards the end of Summer where I wore it so much, it's amazing as you don't need much and it looks like I have barely used any!

I also have recently re-discovered my high beam high lighter from Benefit which I used every time I went out somewhere where I wanted to look a bit more glowy, this adds the most beautiful sheen to the cheeks but doesn't look too much, it's just the perfect highlighter for me and I really like the applicator too!

Now if you don't expect this product in a lot of 'products I've been loving' then where have you been? This is the most talked about mascara I swear in a lot of years! especially this last one! It's the Lash Sensational mascara and it just does everything you could want in a mascara, it adds length like no other mascara does for me but also adds volume and separates my lashes so well! I'm in love!

I have chosen two Mac lipsticks as these are my newest and most loved this year! I have chosen Velvet Teddy and Honey Love, Velvet Teddy just looks amazing on everyone I think, I haven't seen anyone it doesn't suit and it's just a browny nude lip colour, but its matte, it's not drying though and just looks so classy with any makeup look!
Honey Love is more of a lighter nude but it's so complementary on my skin tone and when you want something that isn't bright or in your face, this one is lovely and the formula of both of these lipsticks is amazing, so creamy not drying at all- but they are both matte lipsticks!

The Next one is also a Mac product which is the Pro Long Wear Concealer, I have loved this throughout 2015, it's been so amazing for under the eyes it's thick so covers everything you may want to hide but doesn't crease on me when I set it, it just covers all my under eye imperfections and I'm so impressed with it, I have many favourite concealers but I love this one for covering those under eye bags!

I could not do this post without mentioning more than one highlighter, so here is the second which is the Mac Soft and Gentle mineralised skin finish, now this is just AMAZING! It's the prettiest gold-y looking highlighter but doesn't come out too gold on the skin its a perfect in the middle of a white/gold highlighter and it's just the most incredible highlighter and you need the smallest bit, it's going to last me a life time haha! I have really gotten into highlighting in this past year, and I cannot be without this!

Lastly for this post is my most favourite blush colour ever, which is by Benefit, It is a rose gold colour but is a mixture between a pinky/purple blush but it's just so beautiful and creates a gorgeous rose-y cheek, it's also amazing for just below your cheek bones as it excentuates them and they look super glowy too as this has a nice glittery sheeny highlight to it as well. I am so obsessed with it!

Now I'm sure I will be loving these all throughout this year too as I am addicted to them all at the moment!

Most Loved Eye Products of the Last Year

Let's start with: these are favourites from last year but they will definitely be through this year too, I am so addicted to using all of these makeup bits and that will carry on for as long as I can't find anything I love more, and right now it seems impossible that I will!

So these have all been very talked about items, so I have the Naked Smoky Palette to the Left, then two of the Lash Sensational Mascara's in the middle and then to the left I have my Mac Warm Neutrals Palette. These are all my most favouritest  eye makeup items of the last year and I'm sure I will be loving them this year in 2016, which may I add feels super odd to actually be saying...

I had never been a mascara junkie, I had always stuck to the same mascara, which when I think about it was good but didn't give me a lot of thickness too my lashes and they didn't look as good as I wanted them too, so I tried the Maybelline Lash Sensational in March of last year and I haven't looked back since! This is why I have included two as you can see the one on the left side the packaging looks very well love compared to my super shiny one on the right. I am currently on my third and I am so obsessed with it and I don't know if anything else can compare!

The Palette to the left is the Naked Smoky Palette and in the last few months of 2015, I had been using it daily, even if it was just a little bit of colour on my eye lids, it is amazing for creating those dramatic, sultry eyes and I feel like it has a mixture of day and night shades, a lovely one for experimenting with autumn eye looks, there's a festive gold and a champagne-y pink glitter, it has navy's, purples, silvers the list goes on. The possibility of difference looks you can make with it is endless! It's stunning!

The palette on the right hand side, is also a beautiful and luxury palette. It's the Mac Warm Neutrals palette and it has the most easy to apply warm shades which I think are perfect for autumn and summer as I tend to wear orangey copper eyes in the summer time, it I'm going out at night on holiday, or in the winter time when I want something quite warm glittery and festive. It has a lovely mixture of mattes and glittery/shimmery shades which I feel like is the only downfall in most of the Naked palettes as I love matte colours to deepen up the eye look and sometimes I can go a bit overboard with the glitter so I need matte shades to tone the eyes down. The Mac one is amazing for this as there is such a range of both and they will all complement each other, you don't need to think too much about the colours not matching as all of them seem too whatever ones I use together!

Naked Smoky Palette - www.houseoffraser.co.uk £38.00
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara - www.superdrug.com £7.99
Mac Warm Neutrals Palette - www.selfridges.com  £65.00

These are my all round most loved and most used Eye Products of 2015 and I'm sure will be featured in lots of blog posts in 2016 I hope this has been an enjoyable read for you!

Autumnal Christmas Party Makeup

It's getting super close to Christmas now that I thought with only just over a week to go until Christmas day I would share my christmassy related makeup with you all which is glittery and glamorous and I thought it was perfect for christmas parties!

So I used all the products below and the lipstick from the second picture to create a christmas party makeup look, sadly I didn't have time to recreate it and show you pictures of the makeup but nonetheless I will still talk you through what I used.
So all the Makeup in this top picture I used and will list them all so you can find them yourselves if you want a sneaky peek at them!

Palette - Naked Smoky Palette By Urban Decay
Blush - Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink
Bronzer and Highlighter - Seventeen Define and Conquer Contour Kit in Medium
Foundation - Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in Shade 52
Mascara - Maybelline Lash Sensational in Black
Highlighting Concealer - YSL Touche Eclat concealer

I first used the Bourjois Foundation, usually I use a primer but I used a moisturiser beforehand which helped the makeup to stay on well anyway, so that wasn't a necessary step for me but feel free to use one if recreating this makeup!
So I just used a pump and a half and dotted it around my face and then blended until it looked seamless and the were no streaks! I then added the highlighting concealer from YSL, which is such a beautiful product and I then put a triangle shape around the bottom of my eyes and then blended in with a buffing brush but more patting it in to help cover dark circles I had that day!

Now when I did this I was using glittery eye shadows from the palette so I should have really left the concealer until after unless there was too much fallout from the smoky shadows I used. But it worked out fine as I used a damp eye brush to apply the glitter meaning there was hardly any fallout, Bonus! But if you don't have a setting spray to wet your brush, I would leave the concealing step until eye makeup is applied!
I then started with the pink eye shadow second from the right side which is called 'Combust' I just patted this onto the lid making sure I didn't go up past the crease. I then used the shade 'Whiskey' Which is the brown shade right next to the pink I just used, and I just put this in my crease but tried to keep a crisp line in line with the end of my eyebrow and the corner of my eye so I looked a bit winged out so I did this on the outer v too, and this created a lovely dramatic brown eye, I then added the champagne-y pink colour in 'High' onto my lid right on top of where I had placed the 'Combust' shade. So then the look was completed apart from inner corner highlight which I then added using the colour 'Thirteen' which is the last shade to right in the palette. As the Eye Look was quite dramatic I wanted my brows to look a bit fuller and bigger so I have quite dark blonde brows but I took the brown colour and put the tiniest amount through my brows to keep them natural and just give them a bit more colour.

I then added the Contour to my cheeks using the Seventeen Contour Kit I used the bronzing shade to contour, and then I went to use the Max Factor Blush just above my cheek bone level slightly and then I used the highlighter from the Seventeen Kit just above my bronzer and blush to give me that party glow!

I then added lots of coats of my favourite mascara which is the Maybelline Lash Sensational!

I then used this gorgeous lipstick from Topshop Called 'The Damned' It is a gorgeous berry purple colour on the lips but can be built up to look as dramatic in the Bullet!

So that was everything I used to create a glowing christmas party makeup look!

High End Products I Would Repurchase

So Today is a very exciting post for all you high end makeup lovers!
I will be showing you all the products I think are amazing which are that little more expensive and luxury than most drugstore products! But this post is actually not including lipsticks as I have done so many posts with lipsticks lately so hold on for that one which I will do soon!

So I will firstly talk about them in the order I would apply them so essentially it'll be like a full face but without mascara/powder etc.

So the lovely blue tube at the back is the PoreFessional By Benefit and it's one thing I don't think I could change in my makeup as I use it so much and nothing has replaced it so far. It just smooths my pores and makes them less visible and also is great on my nose which can get a little dry and makeup doesn't apply too well to it but this is my makeup Life Saver!

The next product is my favourite high end foundation I have ever tried! The Estee Lauder Double wear just makes my face look flawless, which I need sometimes with quite blemish prone skin! But I just find nothing will last as long when it's on my face it literally won't move unless I take it off with micellar water and a cotton pad so it's just amazing but for the price tag I'm glad it is!

Mac Pro long wear concealer used to be something I actually didn't like so much, but I think because of the smell of the Mac concealers and foundations I absoloutley hated! But under my eyes the concealer covers any dark circles and doesn't look cakey on me and I literally dreamed about finding a concealer that didn't go cakey for so long! So this is super good for under eyes and is just a lovely product to use.

Next we have two Benefit products, I have Hoola Bronzer and Rocketeur Blush and I adore them both but together they just create a match made in heaven!
Hoola is a gorgeous bronzer which isn't too orangey it's the perfect mix in between it being brown and orange and just looks so natural as it's matte and doesn't have shimmer in it and I find a matte bronzer is the best kind of bronzer for faking those cheekbones as it doesn't too too fake and blends easily into the skin.

Now Rockateur is one of my long term favourites as I had it in a miniature size a long with about six other blushes and the bronzer in a mini christmassy gift set from Benefit last year. Which I am so happy I got or I wouldn't have been able to try this product and I am now obsessed and if I want a nice glowy rose gold blush which isn't too dark or too light it blends so nicely with the hoola bronzer on my face and just creates the most lovely natural glowing bronze-y with a hint of blush look!

Here are the two Benefit products and what they look like: Rockateur blush on the left and Hoola Bronzer on the Right

My ESSENTIALS for the Autumn/winter months

So today's post is my essentials for Autumn and Winter. So there's a mixture of things I'd use in both or in one or the other so let's get right into it and I will show you what my essentials are for the autumn and winter seasons we are in and will be going into soon! This post is also featuring some gorgeous Francesca Heels from Online Avenue which I was lucky enough to be sent so enjoy the blog post!

So Autumn is my favourite season because that's when my birthday is and who doesn't love the month their birthday is in (am I right?!) And in autumn I love having the appropriate nail and lip colours that I associate with autumn, so I have a mixture of nail polishes and lip products that I would use in both autumn and winter as I love them all and they are mostly berry/red shades which I find are perfect for both seasons! also I will tell you what all the nail polish/lip colour shades and brands are near the pictures below!
In both autumn and winter my face/body needs a good moisturiser, as well they make your body feel so much softer and the cold weather can really make your arms/legs/face in particular really really dry. Now I like to use the Garnier Moisture Match in Dry to Very Dry as I find this really helps to bring back moisture into my face, this moisturiser in particular is also only for the face. The second is the Vaseline Spray and Go moisturiser which is amazing to just spray on rub it in and you're done. It dries so quickly which is what I need when I'm moisturising in the morning or before going to bed as I want something that will be quick and then I can carry on with what I'm doing. These products are both amazing if your skin is dry they are a life saver for me! Although everything featured in this post is an Autumn/Winter essential for me!

So If I can be bothered in Autumn/Winter, usually only if I'm going out somewhere nice I will make an effort with my makeup and put on eye shadow, so the palette here is my Mac warm neutrals. It has a mixture of shades but has a lot of gold/copper shades which I absoloutley love in the Autumn weather as well as I also do in the Summer! So basically this is a lovely palette which is a great all rounder for any season really as I wear these sort of shades on my eyes all year round but I love how festive the shades feel in Autumn/Winter too! And it's also perfect for creating christmas party eye shadow looks, as I LOVE A bit  LOT of glitter!
You can find the palette here

So I also have a tangle teezer and this is the gold compact one, it is such a good hair brush and I feel it's so good for on the go as I hate bringing a huge hairbrush (well compared to this one) If I'm travelling and don't want to many bulky items in my bag! the tangle teezer barely takes up any space at all!
You can find the same here

So quickly I will take you through my autumn/winter appropriate/favourite lips and nail colours which are:

Nails: Nails Inc For glamour in Colville Mews, Avon Nailwear pro in Cherry Jubilee, both gorgeous colours I'm currently obsessed with!
Nails Inc Polish Here
Avon Nail Polish Here

Lip colours: Mac lipstick in Russian Red, Ted Baker Lipstick in Red (doesn't have a name) Rimmel Kate Moss in 22, Rimmel Kate Moss in 107 (matte lipstick) which are all my faves for this time of year!
Mac - Russian Red
Ted Baker Lipstick - Unable to find Link
Rimmel Kate Moss 107 here
Rimmel Kate Moss in 22 here

So these are the gorgeous boots I was sent by www.onlineavenue.com, they are an amazing brand which I was chosen to feature on my blog from EtailPr I absolutely adore them and would love to feature them in a blog post soon so watch out for that too!

Online Avenue is an online shoe company with such great value shoes any type you would want they have it on there! They go from a UK women's size 3- size 8 which is great as most people I know are within these sizes! They have such good bargains so if you want some new shoes that won't cost the earth go and have a look!

The one's I have here are the Franchesca Block Heel Pointed Toe Boots and I am totally in love with them! They have a gold detailed trim which is on the front of the heel which was one reason I totally fell in love and knew these needed to be mine! They also have a pointed toe which I think looks so nice on heeled boots but at the same time it isn't uncomfortable and these are super easy for me to walk in so that's an added bonus. I think these boots are really unique and will be coming more into trend through the colder months we are fastly approaching!

I also think that the material used to make these beauties is great as it looks suede but isn't. It's a Lycra material and this also makes them really easy to take on and off as it has good stretch, they also don't have a zip which is also a bonus for me as all my favourite boots I've had in the past with zips seem to break so easily and I've just given up with them, and I'm so happy I won't have to worry about this with these. They are the perfect addition to my shoe wardrobe and I would love to style them in some wintery outfits soon.

So if you want to have a look at the amazing Online Avenue They have some of the loveliest shoes, heels, boots and even wellies! They have so much variety and for such amazing prices and I'm super impressed and I'm sure I would definitely want to buy some shoes from them in the future!

They are just an essential for me now in the Autumn/Winter months as Everybody needs some warm boots to keep them toasty throughout the colder seasons!

What are your Autumn Winter Essentials?!

My Favourite Nude Lipsticks

I know for this time of year nude lip colours aren't exactly what everyone's thinking of wearing, it's all about the reds and the berry coloured lip colours that are what most people love to wear in the colder months!

But I am definitely a girl who prefers a very neutral lip too, I love how any of these colours in this post in the picture above, go with any type of eye look, skin tone and just look amazing all year round! I have a red lipstick post coming up soon but I wanted to go through these five lipsticks that a love all the time not just in the autumn/winter months! I feel like these shades can make my dramatic eye looks and face makeup just a bit more toned down and natural and I feel they complement a lot of makeup looks!

So in this picture I have two Mac lipsticks, two drugstore lipsticks and an Avon lipstick so I've tried to keep everyone's budgets in mind with this post and I love them all so much but in different ways so I will take you through each one and tell you why I love them so much!

Left To right - Mac lipstick in Velvet Teddy, Avon Lipstick in Cappuccino, L'Oreal Lipstick in Eva's Nude, Maybelline lipstick in Tantalizing Taupe, Mac lipstick in Creme Cup.

Mac lipstick in Velvet Teddy - This is a gorgeous classy and sophisticated lipstick which I love for the colder months! It just looks lovely with every makeup look but is a darker but wearable nude colour. When I first tried this I was unsure about it not complementing my skin tone and looking too dark on my lips but I'm glad I took the plunge as I adore it so much!
£15.50

Avon lipstick in Cappuccino - I love how buttery this formula of lipstick is it glides on the lips so well but doesn't feel slippery or comes off too easily, as it's a light colour you don't have to worry about it looking too much, it barely looks like I have anything on my lips when i'm wearing it but it feels nice an moisturising and for this reason this would be a great one for the cold winter months ahead!
£7.50

L'Oreal Lipstick in Eva's Nude - This has got to be my all time favourite drugstore lipstick! The L'Oreal lipsticks in this collection have the nicest packaging, nicest scent and just are amazing quality for the price! I feel like I need to buy a few back ups of this as it's one shade I can always rely to put on my lips and it will look nice but not too over the top it has a nice peachy pink colour and I love the way it looks on my skin tone the colour is so so beautiful too!
£6.99

Maybelline lipstick in Tantalizing Taupe - This is a lovely lipstick a lot lighter than most of these, it sort of has a pearly finish and looks almost shimmery but it doesn't have shimmer in it. It looks super shiny and glossy but it is bordering on concealer-y lips so I wouldn't go for this if you don't want to be washed out but it's worth a shot as I love it and it is a lot different to any of the rest of the lipsticks featured in this post!
£6.99

Mac Lipstick in Creme Cup - This is the second and final lipstick from Mac in this post, and this is creme cup which is a very pink toned nude shade it isn't really a nude colour at all but looks very pink on me so it depends on my mood, I love this one from Spring and Summer especially but I use it every once and a while, I would say Velvet teddy is a lot more wearable for me particularly and it doesn't need to be reapplied as often as creme cup is a cremesheen finish which means it is quite glossy and moisturising, this was also my first Mac Lipstick which one of my best friends actually bought me and will always be one I adore!

My Lash Multiplying Trio

So if you're at all like me, you want longer and thicker lashes, and for them to appear much fuller. Now I without a doubt need mascara in my life! I have the shortest, little lashes and they naturally don't look full at all and I look like I barely have any!

These are the three products which make my eyes appear so much more awake and my lashes more full and thick! I love the affect that these three products have on my eye area and how much more my eyes stand out when using them.

So the first product I use is the 'Soft Ochre' paint pot from Mac, I use this just to prime for eye shadow- If I'm wearing any that day, but it just covers veins and anything else you want to cover on your eye lid and with my skin tone it looks super natural and doesn't look like I have a product on my eyelids. Now I also understand how this isn't going to affect my eye lashes much as it's priming and concealing my eye lids basically. But without it I can really tell a difference in my eyes and my lashes as they really seem to pop more, even though this is a natural shade it makes my eyes and eyelashes look so much better I can tell a difference if I don't use it.

I then use my Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara which is amazing and is by far the best mascara from the drugstore I've ever found I am so obsessed with it and am in need of buying a back up as I don't want to go a day without it, this is how much I love it! It adds so much length which I really need, having the shortest straight lashes it really lifts them too so it doesn't make much of a difference if I use eyelash curlers or not. So if you're wanting to know if it's worth the hype I so recommend you trying it I don't know how someone could have a bad word to say about it, as the difference in my eye lashes and how much longer they look is really something to hype a product up over!

I then use the Benefit They're Real Mascara, if I think I need it, this adds a lot more volume I find and can keep my eyelashes curled upwards all day, which most mascara's can't seem to hold a curl that well with my short, stubborn lashes. I love how this looks on it's own too, both of these mascara's I would wear on their own but they both have things I wish the other did more of too. But I can't complain as they are two of the best mascara's I have ever used! And there's an alternative for both high end and drugstore if you are wanting longer and thicker lashes or the appearance of more lashes, hence me calling this my 'lash multiplying trio' But I love them both and I know they are both hyped about a lot but they are two products I definitely agree with the hype over, they truly deserve to be hyped over!

Have you tried any drugstore/high end mascara's that you think could top these?!

Primers that work Best for me

So something that's become a little more popular in the past few years, in the beauty/youtube/blogging community is primers which are a must have for me!

Primers are great for prolonging the wear of your makeup as they help to stick the products down better to your face/eyes etc. wherever you use a primer it can help with keeping the product on there, and also to apply makeup smoother. For me personally I use a primer as it makes the makeup stick better on the dry patches of my face, as some primers can be moisturising too, this can help with dryness and also some primers can help with oily-ness too, they will soak up the excess oils in your skin, before you apply makeup to those areas.

So the primers I think are great are these ones, they may not all do exactly the same things but I will tell you about why I love each one and hopefully this will help or encourage one of you to use a primer before your makeup base.

Nivea Express Hydration Primer - Buy Here - Boots.com
This primer is obviously the most moistursing for me as you can see it just looks like a normal moisturiser in a pot. This is the one for dry skin, so I use this mainly on my dry patches as I have combination skin I don't need to apply it all over. I don't feel it makes my makeup last much longer as I use a full coverage foundation on an every day basis, and they tend to last a long time anyway! But if you have dry skin or lots of dry patches this feels really nourishing and leaves me skin feeling silky and baby soft!

The Body Shop Instablur Primer - Buy Here:
The body shop's makeup line I had never really tried before trying this and the BB Cream, but I don't know why I didn't try it sooner, this one and the next one have the most similar consistencies out of all of these primers and they really help to create a flawless looking base for makeup, I am also aware that they have bought out an eye shadow primer version of this so I'm definitely going to be on the hunt to find that sooon! I think this one is definitely in my top 2!

Maybelline Instant pore eraser - Buy Here - Boots.com :
This primer is very easy to apply it comes out all in one squeeze of the tube, which is great unlike the body shop one where it's always flying out of the tube! (Am I the only one, God knows?!)
It does seem to make my face look a lot less red, which I don't know if I'm just thinking it does or it just blurs my imperfections a little... well I'm not sure but I like it anyway!

Benefit PoreFessional Primer - Buy Here - Boots.com
Now the drum roll for my favourite one which has got the be the Benefit Porefessional, it just has a lovely texture and leaves my skin looking flawless and poreless! And many products I find don't live up to how good they say they are but this one just is a game changer for me, If I don't use this for one day my skin looks drier, dull and lifeless, but this one I feel just blurs imperfections and makes my pores nearly invisible! Which is amazing!

Which Is my Favourite?

Well without a doubt it would be the Porefessional but for those on more of a budget I would recommend the Body shops instablur! They both just make my skin look and feel like a million dollars and if I don't use any primer I can always tell the difference; my makeup lasts a lot longer than without one and looks a lot more smoother and airbrushed!

Have you tried any of these?
What primers do you recommend to me?!

My Current Lip Obsessions

These 4 beauties are the lipsticks I am currently obsessed with and if I wear to wear a lipstick tomorrow it would 100% be one of these! I am loving a mixture of different colours lately and as you can see these are all very different to each other.

The colours above are L-R: L'Oreal Eva's Nude Lipstick, Makeup Revolution Lip Lava In Tremor, Maybelline Colour Sensational in Tantalizing Taupe, Ted Baker Lipstick in Red(has no name)
So the colours I have chosen here are a mix of nudes/pinks and reds, this being nudes/pinks are my favourite to wear and I find you can wear them with anything and they won't clash. On the other hand Red lipstick is not usually something I go for and is a little out of my comfort zone but I love this Ted Baker one!

For Radiant, Glowing Skin

As a girl who loves the look of dewy glowing skin, I have accumulated quite a few products for highlighting the skin. I love quite a few ranging from drugstore to high end and liquid to powder highlighters. But I am going to be taking you through my favourites and why I love them so grab a tea or coffee and if you want a natural highlight or a highlight to create that 'Strobing' look every beauty guru is going on about then keep reading!

So I find that a liquid highlighter sits best on my skin and looks more natural, it doesn't tend to cake up easily like a powder highlighter usually does on me. It is easy to apply, you just apply it to the areas you want to highlight and make stand out on your face and then blend with a makeup bush or your fingers. I think highlighting makes your features stand out a lot more and brings light to that area, I think it can be used on a day to day basis if you'd like too, some people just use it on special occasions but if your obsessed with makeup and beauty items you may want to just it whenever the hell you want haha! So make sure you wear makeup for you and not any other reasons! If you don't like to wear much makeup or are new to highlighting you can always try a highlighter maybe from the drugstore, so you don't waste money if you don't like it! I recommend the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch as it's supposedly just like the YSL touche eclat, which I will talk about later! or you could also try the Bourjois Bronzer and highlighter Duo as I've heard nothing but good things about this duo!

The Perfect Palette Tag

Today I'm doing a Tag post as I think sometimes these are a little bit of fun and are a chance to show more of your personality, and be yourself. Today's is the Perfect Palette tag and this tag was made for me as I am addicted to buying palettes and I have quite a few this is going to be hard I can tell! I'd like to say too before I start that palettes are something I like to collect and a lot of them had been bought with my own money or with birthday money etc. I haven't bought them all in one go most of them in about 3-4 years or longer.

1. Best Packaging
Without a doubt the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette, I am just in love with this packaging it is so gorgeous and I also really love the way it's magnetic, it seems to make it feel like a more luxurious product, although it already is but it just makes me love it all the more!(if that's possible) If you'd like to see more pictures of the Naked Smoky palette I have a haul where I featured it here

Small High End Makeup Haul

Bonjour m'lovelies (I know I'm not funny hahah) I have missed making blog posts for the last two and a half weeks, since going on holiday to a place in Spain called Murcia, It was such a lovely relaxing holiday and I was so sad to be coming home, but the ferry ride home was made a little bit better with a cheeky purchase of the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat. I have been lusting over this makeup purchase for around two years now and I thought with it being a few pounds cheaper than usual it was a perfect time for the little splurge!

All About my Mac Palette & Favourite shades

This is the day I am going to talk to you all about my Mac Warm Neutrals palette and why I love it and my favourite and most used eye shadows in the palette.

Firstly I thought I would mention to fill a Mac palette the insert is around £20 and then each of the singular eye shadows are £10 each, So you would be spending over £150 to fill up a Mac palette yourself with your hand picked eye shadows. I bought this for £65, which on it's own is A LOT of money to spend on eye shadow but I bought this with all my own money that I had saved around a year ago I think or maybe sooner, but it is so Amazing! And even a year later it is probably one of my favourite makeup items I have ever purchased.

My top favourite Bronzers

Bronzing or contouring has become a very popular throughout the last year or so on YouTube, and the Blogosphere whether you want a subtle contour or a Kim K one it is easy to master with the correct products!

Now I have a mixture of high end and drugstore favourite bronzers, mostly drugstore as I love a good contour and get through bronzers quite quickly and this means it can get fairly expensive if I am using just high end ones! I will be giving my honest opinions on them all but as you can see by the title of  this blog post these are my most loved and most favourite bronzers, so enjoy!

Review of Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation and It's Drugstore Dupe

Estee Lauder Double Foundation
I love this foundation so much it makes my skin look flawless once applied, even though I suffer from acne and sometimes have very angry spots.
