Skincare/Bodycare favourites!

Now that summer is just around the corner, I've been stepping up with my skin and body care products!
I adore having a summery glow as the weather gets nicer and I have two tanning body/skincare products featured in this post as well as two skin care products which I'm also loving, so if you want to know my thoughts carry on reading lovelies!

The Products featured and direct links to them:
Dove DermaSpa Summer Revived Body Lotion -www.boots.com
Bondi Sands everyday Gradual Face tanner - www.feelunique.com
Cetaphil cleanser - www.feelunique.com
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo - www.feelunique.com

The first product is a very new product to me, after seeing this gradual tan on offer on the super drug website a few weeks ago I decided to take the plunge and try it, because I self tan I use the Bondi Sands Tanning range, and I can never ever get my hands to look somewhat not disgusting, I have watched countless youtube videos to see what I was doing wrong when applying the mousse to my body and also my hands but every time I did it it was hideous, no other word to describe it unfortunately! So I tried this on my hands applying it with a tanning mitt and oh my goodness what a difference, it matches my Bondi Sands dark foam perfectly after two solid coats and I am obsessed! I am yet to try the Bondi Sands tanning lotion, as I was going to try that on my hands and feet instead of the mousse but as this was on offer for around £3.50 and the Bondi sands one was £14.99 I thought I would give this ago first and the results I am beyond impressed with!
The best natural looking hands I have ever had when fake tanning!

Now time for my Bondi Sands face gradual tan, now this is perfect for when you don't want to wear much makeup on your face and I've been loving it for makeup free days as it adds colour to my face obviously and builds up to match the tan on my body over two to three days of me applying it each night, because obviously when I don't fake tan my face I have a very visible pale face and tanned body haha!!The only small downside is if you use harsher face scrubs it obviously won't last amazingly but I think is super good and I've been looking for a product like this that doesn't break me out! it doesn't! and I'm definitely going to use this on holiday this summer since I need to use factor 50 on my easily burnt face! Goodbye to my pale face and tanned neck!

So any US readers of my blog you'll probably think I'm crazy but I have been dying to try the Cetaphil cleanser for so long after hearing how good it is for sensitive or acne prone skin, which lucky me I suffer from both! I love the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish but I was looking for a liquid based cleanser instead of like a lotion which is what cleanse and polish is for those who may not know!
I have been using it for three weeks solidly now and my skin hasn't felt this soft in forever so now I'm definitely saying goodbye to harsh face scrubs which probably made my skin even more sensitive! It is amazing if your looking for a product that won't irritate your skin at all this one claims to do that and I agree!

Lastly is another completely raved about product, and I talk about it all the time! BUT it's the biggest staple in my facial skincare routine, if I couldn't have any other product except one it would be this one! *Bold claim I know!* it keeps my skin clearer than any other product has and I feel it works best when I completely cover my face in a small layer so it helps to tackle blemishes even before they appear. The Effaclar Duo + is a french brand and I also need to try more products from them! I have yet to find a acne curing product but this is as close as I've found to improve my skin the abolute most and it seems to prevent whiteheads and those really painful spots which is gross but amazing that it does such a good job!

So these are my favourites!

My Favourite Liquid Lipsticks/Lipcreams

Liquid lipsticks are becoming super popular lately, after the recent launch of the Kylie Jenner lip kits, (which one has actually made it into this post!) they have become a massive hype and every beauty lover it seems is obsessed with them and their are so many great dupes of her liquid lipsticks on the beauty market. I thought I would share with you my favourites at the minute so enjoy!

So the first is of course my Kylie liquid lipstick which I originally bought in the lip kit which featured this lipstick and the matching lipliner. Now this is such a perfect colour for me it's a nude pink colour and it's so easy to apply and smells incredible, and just like strawberries my fave! It is so pretty and I the formula is lovely, I just wish they were easy and accessible in the UK, without the shipping and customs charges which can be a whopping amount of money which I don't have haha!

The next one is the NYX lipstick in the colour Copenhagen, and by the way I love all of these liquid lipsticks and they are all my favourites! *they're in no particular order I forgot to mention!* The Copenhagen shade is amazing but I am more of a pink/nude/neutral lip kinda gal as I feel like these suit me best and are so wearable for me! This is a lip cream so it isn't as liquid-y like the others but dries into a cream formula but all of these lipsticks have a similar affect when dried. This is super good value at £5.50 so I will definitely be trying some more NYX lipsticks!

The last is a new edition to my liquid lipsticks, it's the Sleek Matte Me in Birthday Suit, I heard so much about this being a dupe for Dolce K by Kylie Jenner (sold as a lip kit) and I couldn't chose between Dolce K and Candy K when I got my lip kit so as I chose Candy K I wanted to get a dupe for Dolce K without the extreme price tag to get it shipped to the UK! So this is a gorgeous browny pink, slightly browner than Candy K, it's a very signature Kylie lip colour. Another thing with liquid lipsticks is that it's so much easier if you want a fuller lip because the liquid when dried really looked so natural and somehow makes you able to do your lips how you like usually with a lipliner, and then a matte liquid lipstick and it's so easy if you want a Kylie Jenner style lip look!

My March Favourites

March has been a super busy month for me, but it's not stopped me loving lots of different beauty/skincare products this month!

Funnily enough most of my products here are pink, but that's fine as it's my favourite colour! So let me start with the first product!

My favourite body product has actually been this Heel Genius Foot Cream by Soap and glory, I basically hate feet especially my own so anything that makes them look and smell better (I know, Gross) is a wonder product for me and this has just made my heels so much softer, and foot pampering is definitely what I need as after all summer is just around the corner! This is a miniature of the original but it is very good value for money for the full size at £5.50 so I will definitely be purchasing the full size soon!

Then I actually have been adoring the Sugar Crush Body Spray also by Soap and glory, as you can see I am in love with the soap and glory range as it all just smells divine and the products are amazing. This just smells like the sugar crush body wash in liquid form and it is without a doubt the nicest body spray smell, and I have recently seen on instagram there is a perfume/fragrance version so I NEED that in my life!!

Then this lip gloss all I can say is it's the best drugstore one I've found. It's the Barry M lip gloss in Toffee, and unfortunately I can't find it anywhere online *cries* and I really hope it isn't discontinued as I have really struggled to find a nice lipgloss which is the perfect formula for me at an affordable price. It goes with all my lipsticks in this post too so even better, but not if it's gone forever!

For moisturiser I'm loving my Garnier Moisturise Match in 'Goodbye Dry', because it's the perfect in-between it's not too light or too thick but it really helps with the dry areas on my face and helps my makeup to sit a lot nicer and I don't find any makeup clings to my dry areas when I use this! -Bonus!

Now I'm going to take you though my most loved/adored lipsticks for this month!

The first is the L'Oreal Eva's Nude Lipstick it's a beautiful peachy, pink which is just a perfect spring/summer colour which will really pop with a nice summery glow, it looks so gorgeous paired with any eye look or just a natural makeup look, it's beautiful!

The Second one in is a Maybelline Lipstick in Tantalising Taupe I can rarely get away with this very pale glossy nude shade, it is a browny nude colour, as taupe would suggest but I have been loving it with darker eyes or bold contour/blush shades, it really complements most makeup looks well!

Then Last but not least my well loved, Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 38, it is a gorgeous nude/neutral pink with the most gorgeous tones in it and it's the most wearable lipstick shade I think I own for Spring/Summer it will just look so neutral but still very pretty and easy to just put on whenever or wherever you are and it doesn't require too much upkeep you don't have to keep applying it throughout the day!

What's have been your favourites this month?!

My Top Three Drugstore Foundations

I am a big, big fan of makeup from cheaper brands usually the more expensive drugstore brands have amazing products and some are even better than high end ones in my opinion. That's why I thought I would share my top three drugstore foundations today!
You can browse them here!
Rimmel Match Perfection - here
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - here
Rimmel Lasting Finish - here

So my first favourite in the photo, is the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation and this has been probably my longest favourite drugstore foundation and I have probably repurchased it 6-7 times maybe! I think it has amazing coverage and my shade 'True Ivory' is such a perfect match for me in winter and also towards the start of summer. It is a lovely coverage, it doesn't feel too thick and offers  good coverage for spots, I usually do use a bit of concealer over the top of them though if I am experiencing a breakout! I would probably say it is medium coverage, it does exactly what I want it to do, and I love this new 'pore blurring effect' it supposedly has, I just love this foundation and I don't know if it makes me pores look smaller but the foundation makes me look 100% better and more confident than I feel without it on!

The second I have to talk about is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, I love the smell of this foundation so much and when I'm not wearing it I sort of miss the scent when it's applied! weird I know! It is probably a light to medium coverage, compared to the next one I will be talking about, it is thicker than the serum foundation from their 'healthy mix' range but I prefer it to the serum because I need more coverage than the serum gives me. I only have one small complaint with this and it's that sometimes I look too yellow, I don't know if it's just in certain lighting but I usually have trouble with foundations being too orangey but this is quite yellow on me and I am sure I have yellow toned to neutral skin tone, but to be honest I could be wrong, one thing is for sure, I'm certainly not pink toned and if I was I think this would look not so great on my complexion but for now I can get away with it!

Last but definitely not least is my Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation, and this is one of my new holy grail, can't live without products I think I just need to stock up on bottles and bottles, because this is full coverage and it just makes my skin look flawless. I start off with a small amount at a time as this is the best way for the foundation not to go cakey, and it covers all the blemishes on my face apart from quite a big one I've had recently but that is a problem I just can't do much about haha! This is amazing a full coverage foundation that lasts ALL day! And also is a great shade match for my skin tone and it is just under £8 it is incredible if you want a flawless finish this one definitely gives me it!

These are all amazing products which I adore and I think they would all be great for different people, the Rimmel Match Perfection is a great one if your starting out with makeup or don't need to have that much of a heavy coverage. The Bourgeois would be amazing for yellow toned skin and the Lasting Finish is amazing if you have blemishes you may want to cover or just want a full coverage foundation. They are all my favourites!

Have you tried any of these foundations, and What is your favourite drugstore foundation?

Battle of the blushes - My favourites

I have tried and tested a lot of blushes throughout my time of being obsessed with makeup and I thought it would be nice to share my favourites as this is the time of year I start using blush more and the weather is getting a little nicer!

The Blushes in the picture above:

I am not usually the biggest blush fan usually, I only really use bronzer most of the time but recently in the past year or so, I have found these three blushes which I am in love with, and have been since so I thought I'd share my favourites as I never thought I could suit blush but I have found the perfect ones for me!

The first I will tell you about is the Benefit Rockateur Blush which is the biggest one in the picture to the left and it's so complementary towards my skin tone, I had wanted to try a rose gold-y coloured blush for ages after seeing so many people talk about the Nars blush in 'orgasm' so I decided to try the Benefit rocketeur which I picked up in duty free before my last holiday, this past summer and it's been used so much since and I haven't even hit near the pan which makes me so happy!

It retails for £23.50 but it's probably my favourite blush ever on me which is a huge claim but I'm always reaching for it and I don't think many blushes can come close for the love I have for this one.

The next blush I have is the Sleek Blush in Rose Gold which is on the bottom of the photo I took. I really love this as a spring/summer blush it's a lot more summery than the others as it looks quite bright, I wouldn't say it's bright but it's a lot more of a flush on your cheeks and is very pigmented so a light hand is definitely needed with this product! I don't really use it in any other months apart from spring and summer as most of the time I don't want to look rosy because I have quite a lot of redness from blemishes on my skin and I don't want to bring out the redness after I've covered it up if you see what I mean. It's gorgeous and a perfect shade if you love your pinks. It also has lovely shimmers in it, they are noticeable but aren't over the top which I was worried about at first but this blush just adds a little bit of shimmer which creates a healthy glow.

This blush is the cheapest one at £4.49 which is amazing for the pigmentation and quality of this blush! It can be bought from Superdrug or Boots if you are in the UK.

The last which is obviously in the right corner of the photo is the Max Factor Creme Puff blush in Seductive Pink. It's a gorgeous in-between of a pink/mauve blush it is super natural on my skin tone and lasts for a long time throughout the day- like the other two blushes mentioned. I haven't tried any other products from Max factor apart from a foundation when I tried this and it's made me think that I definitely need to try more from them as this is a gorgeous colour and complements my skin so much, whether I have a tan or not I would use this!

This one retails for £8.99 which I think is a fair price but if I didn't know how good it was I probably wouldn't have bought it but as I bought it in a 3 for 2 offer in Boots a while back I got it and I'm so glad I did!

I really want to try a few more high end blushes so what are your favourites? I'm tempted to try the Nars Blush in Love Joy and the Charlotte Tilbury blush in First Love, which I have linked below if you are intrigued to what they look like!

Product's I'm Loving Lately

If you'd like to see what products I have been loving in the past month or so then you've come to the right place! I have a mixture of Makeup, Perfume, Body care favourites so I hope you lovely's enjoy and don't forget to tell me what you've been loving too!

You can find all of the products below:
Soap and glory Sugar crush body spray - here
Nails Inc Nail Polish in Hyde Park  - here
Benefit Laugh with me Lee Lee Fragrance - here
Nyx Soft Matte lip cream in Copenhagen - here
Seventeen Wet look Liquid eye liner - here
Soap and glory heel genius cream - here
The comforter shower cream - here
Mac lipstick in Velvet Teddy - here
Mac Whirl lip liner - here

Soap and glory Sugar crush body Spray: This body spray is such a gorgeous, sweet scent and it's just a mist/spray so it's easy to just use and makes you smell amazing! It's super good value but it's so easy to use so much as it just smells so amazing! If you like the sugar crush scent you will love this!

Nails Inc Nail polish in Hyde park: I have been having this on my nails constantly throughout January and this month too as it's on my nails right now so it's definitely a nail polish I have an attachment too, because I literally can't stop wearing it. It is the loveliest grey/blue and it just looks so classy and elegant on the nails.

Benefit Laugh with me Lee Lee Fragrance: For a perfume favourite this Benefit one has been my absolute favourite. I love the scent, it's the perfect feminine floral and powdery and I adore the packaging of this perfume too. I definitely think I a going to be loving it for a long long time and the scent lasts really well on my skin!

Nyx Soft Matte lip cream in Copenhagen: Now I hate purple lipsticks on me, but this is the only colour I have found that I actually really like on my skin tone, with some goldy/bronze eye makeup I really have been liking using this, but I probably won't be using it for a while because I am wearing so many pink/peachy lipsticks now the weather is getting a little better.

Seventeen Wet look Liquid eye liner: I am definitely not a pro at applying eye liner. This one is probably one of my most favourites I've discovered along with the barry m liquid liner which you can find here it looks so good on and I feel I can control the nib and the thickness quite easily, which I find very difficult with most liquid eye liners! I really like the fact its 'wet look' too because I think it looks super black as soon as it's applied and stays the same the whole day for me!

Soap and glory heel genius cream: Now I am not a foot lover, really to be honest I hate them, like they are just weird compared to my hands I think feet look super weird, but I know we all have them so. I have really been liking this foot cream, it is quite thick but is so nice to put on and then put on a pair of socks to let your feet soak in the moisture and literally my feet have never looked better! I love painting my toe nails too just because well I think painting them and keeping them nice makes my feet look at least 20x better! I don't usually use foot cream but I really think this is so good!

The comforter shower cream: I am someone who really loves sweet scents and this shower cream from lush is no exception for that! It has the same smell as the much loved and raved about 'The comforter bubble bar' which I adore so I had to buy this! The smell is glorious and I know that I need to buy more before I run out or I will definitely not be a happy bunny!

Mac lipstick in Velvet Teddy: I know this is everyones favourite Mac lipstick but it just has barely come off my lips lately, it's my go to lip colour if I want something that looks sophisticated or won't require to much upkeep throughout the day. As it's a matte lipstick it lasts for ages on the lips!

Mac Whirl lip liner: I also have been loving my Mac lip liner in the shade whirl, it is a super stunning colour and if you like neutral pink lips this lip liner is great and because I have so many neutral nude lipsticks it suits so many of my lipsticks which is a bonus in itself!

What have you been loving recently?!

Best Makeup Products I've Discovered in 2015

I have wanted to share a favourite products of 2015 for about two weeks or so now but I thought I could just share my favourite makeup items I have loved in 2015, as this may help a few of you to decide on any new makeup you're wanting to try!

You can browse or buy them here:
I have listed all of my favourites here and these clickable links should take you straight to them!
MaxFactor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink - www.boots.com
Benefit High Beam Highlighter - www.boots.com
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in Black www.boots.com
Mac Lipstick in Velvet Teddy - www.selfridges.com
Mac Lipstick in Honey Love - www.selfridges.com
Mac Pro Long Wear Concealer - www.selfridges.com
Mac Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle - www.selfridges.com
Benefit Rockateur Blush - www.boots.com

Firstly, I adore the Max Factor Creme puff blush in Seductive pink, it adds the prettiest flush of colour to the cheeks and I find it's absolutely perfect for Spring/Summer I really enjoyed using it towards the end of Summer where I wore it so much, it's amazing as you don't need much and it looks like I have barely used any!

I also have recently re-discovered my high beam high lighter from Benefit which I used every time I went out somewhere where I wanted to look a bit more glowy, this adds the most beautiful sheen to the cheeks but doesn't look too much, it's just the perfect highlighter for me and I really like the applicator too!

Now if you don't expect this product in a lot of 'products I've been loving' then where have you been? This is the most talked about mascara I swear in a lot of years! especially this last one! It's the Lash Sensational mascara and it just does everything you could want in a mascara, it adds length like no other mascara does for me but also adds volume and separates my lashes so well! I'm in love!

I have chosen two Mac lipsticks as these are my newest and most loved this year! I have chosen Velvet Teddy and Honey Love, Velvet Teddy just looks amazing on everyone I think, I haven't seen anyone it doesn't suit and it's just a browny nude lip colour, but its matte, it's not drying though and just looks so classy with any makeup look!
Honey Love is more of a lighter nude but it's so complementary on my skin tone and when you want something that isn't bright or in your face, this one is lovely and the formula of both of these lipsticks is amazing, so creamy not drying at all- but they are both matte lipsticks!

The Next one is also a Mac product which is the Pro Long Wear Concealer, I have loved this throughout 2015, it's been so amazing for under the eyes it's thick so covers everything you may want to hide but doesn't crease on me when I set it, it just covers all my under eye imperfections and I'm so impressed with it, I have many favourite concealers but I love this one for covering those under eye bags!

I could not do this post without mentioning more than one highlighter, so here is the second which is the Mac Soft and Gentle mineralised skin finish, now this is just AMAZING! It's the prettiest gold-y looking highlighter but doesn't come out too gold on the skin its a perfect in the middle of a white/gold highlighter and it's just the most incredible highlighter and you need the smallest bit, it's going to last me a life time haha! I have really gotten into highlighting in this past year, and I cannot be without this!

Lastly for this post is my most favourite blush colour ever, which is by Benefit, It is a rose gold colour but is a mixture between a pinky/purple blush but it's just so beautiful and creates a gorgeous rose-y cheek, it's also amazing for just below your cheek bones as it excentuates them and they look super glowy too as this has a nice glittery sheeny highlight to it as well. I am so obsessed with it!

Now I'm sure I will be loving these all throughout this year too as I am addicted to them all at the moment!

High End Products I Would Repurchase

So Today is a very exciting post for all you high end makeup lovers!
I will be showing you all the products I think are amazing which are that little more expensive and luxury than most drugstore products! But this post is actually not including lipsticks as I have done so many posts with lipsticks lately so hold on for that one which I will do soon!

So I will firstly talk about them in the order I would apply them so essentially it'll be like a full face but without mascara/powder etc.

So the lovely blue tube at the back is the PoreFessional By Benefit and it's one thing I don't think I could change in my makeup as I use it so much and nothing has replaced it so far. It just smooths my pores and makes them less visible and also is great on my nose which can get a little dry and makeup doesn't apply too well to it but this is my makeup Life Saver!

The next product is my favourite high end foundation I have ever tried! The Estee Lauder Double wear just makes my face look flawless, which I need sometimes with quite blemish prone skin! But I just find nothing will last as long when it's on my face it literally won't move unless I take it off with micellar water and a cotton pad so it's just amazing but for the price tag I'm glad it is!

Mac Pro long wear concealer used to be something I actually didn't like so much, but I think because of the smell of the Mac concealers and foundations I absoloutley hated! But under my eyes the concealer covers any dark circles and doesn't look cakey on me and I literally dreamed about finding a concealer that didn't go cakey for so long! So this is super good for under eyes and is just a lovely product to use.

Next we have two Benefit products, I have Hoola Bronzer and Rocketeur Blush and I adore them both but together they just create a match made in heaven!
Hoola is a gorgeous bronzer which isn't too orangey it's the perfect mix in between it being brown and orange and just looks so natural as it's matte and doesn't have shimmer in it and I find a matte bronzer is the best kind of bronzer for faking those cheekbones as it doesn't too too fake and blends easily into the skin.

Now Rockateur is one of my long term favourites as I had it in a miniature size a long with about six other blushes and the bronzer in a mini christmassy gift set from Benefit last year. Which I am so happy I got or I wouldn't have been able to try this product and I am now obsessed and if I want a nice glowy rose gold blush which isn't too dark or too light it blends so nicely with the hoola bronzer on my face and just creates the most lovely natural glowing bronze-y with a hint of blush look!

Here are the two Benefit products and what they look like: Rockateur blush on the left and Hoola Bronzer on the Right

Here are the Links to browse or buy the products mentioned if you're interested!

My Favourite Nude Lipsticks

I know for this time of year nude lip colours aren't exactly what everyone's thinking of wearing, it's all about the reds and the berry coloured lip colours that are what most people love to wear in the colder months!

But I am definitely a girl who prefers a very neutral lip too, I love how any of these colours in this post in the picture above, go with any type of eye look, skin tone and just look amazing all year round! I have a red lipstick post coming up soon but I wanted to go through these five lipsticks that a love all the time not just in the autumn/winter months! I feel like these shades can make my dramatic eye looks and face makeup just a bit more toned down and natural and I feel they complement a lot of makeup looks!

So in this picture I have two Mac lipsticks, two drugstore lipsticks and an Avon lipstick so I've tried to keep everyone's budgets in mind with this post and I love them all so much but in different ways so I will take you through each one and tell you why I love them so much!

Left To right - Mac lipstick in Velvet Teddy, Avon Lipstick in Cappuccino, L'Oreal Lipstick in Eva's Nude, Maybelline lipstick in Tantalizing Taupe, Mac lipstick in Creme Cup.

Mac lipstick in Velvet Teddy - This is a gorgeous classy and sophisticated lipstick which I love for the colder months! It just looks lovely with every makeup look but is a darker but wearable nude colour. When I first tried this I was unsure about it not complementing my skin tone and looking too dark on my lips but I'm glad I took the plunge as I adore it so much!
£15.50

Avon lipstick in Cappuccino - I love how buttery this formula of lipstick is it glides on the lips so well but doesn't feel slippery or comes off too easily, as it's a light colour you don't have to worry about it looking too much, it barely looks like I have anything on my lips when i'm wearing it but it feels nice an moisturising and for this reason this would be a great one for the cold winter months ahead!
£7.50

L'Oreal Lipstick in Eva's Nude - This has got to be my all time favourite drugstore lipstick! The L'Oreal lipsticks in this collection have the nicest packaging, nicest scent and just are amazing quality for the price! I feel like I need to buy a few back ups of this as it's one shade I can always rely to put on my lips and it will look nice but not too over the top it has a nice peachy pink colour and I love the way it looks on my skin tone the colour is so so beautiful too!
£6.99

Maybelline lipstick in Tantalizing Taupe - This is a lovely lipstick a lot lighter than most of these, it sort of has a pearly finish and looks almost shimmery but it doesn't have shimmer in it. It looks super shiny and glossy but it is bordering on concealer-y lips so I wouldn't go for this if you don't want to be washed out but it's worth a shot as I love it and it is a lot different to any of the rest of the lipsticks featured in this post!
£6.99

Mac Lipstick in Creme Cup - This is the second and final lipstick from Mac in this post, and this is creme cup which is a very pink toned nude shade it isn't really a nude colour at all but looks very pink on me so it depends on my mood, I love this one from Spring and Summer especially but I use it every once and a while, I would say Velvet teddy is a lot more wearable for me particularly and it doesn't need to be reapplied as often as creme cup is a cremesheen finish which means it is quite glossy and moisturising, this was also my first Mac Lipstick which one of my best friends actually bought me and will always be one I adore!

My Lash Multiplying Trio

So if you're at all like me, you want longer and thicker lashes, and for them to appear much fuller. Now I without a doubt need mascara in my life! I have the shortest, little lashes and they naturally don't look full at all and I look like I barely have any!

These are the three products which make my eyes appear so much more awake and my lashes more full and thick! I love the affect that these three products have on my eye area and how much more my eyes stand out when using them.

So the first product I use is the 'Soft Ochre' paint pot from Mac, I use this just to prime for eye shadow- If I'm wearing any that day, but it just covers veins and anything else you want to cover on your eye lid and with my skin tone it looks super natural and doesn't look like I have a product on my eyelids. Now I also understand how this isn't going to affect my eye lashes much as it's priming and concealing my eye lids basically. But without it I can really tell a difference in my eyes and my lashes as they really seem to pop more, even though this is a natural shade it makes my eyes and eyelashes look so much better I can tell a difference if I don't use it.

I then use my Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara which is amazing and is by far the best mascara from the drugstore I've ever found I am so obsessed with it and am in need of buying a back up as I don't want to go a day without it, this is how much I love it! It adds so much length which I really need, having the shortest straight lashes it really lifts them too so it doesn't make much of a difference if I use eyelash curlers or not. So if you're wanting to know if it's worth the hype I so recommend you trying it I don't know how someone could have a bad word to say about it, as the difference in my eye lashes and how much longer they look is really something to hype a product up over!

I then use the Benefit They're Real Mascara, if I think I need it, this adds a lot more volume I find and can keep my eyelashes curled upwards all day, which most mascara's can't seem to hold a curl that well with my short, stubborn lashes. I love how this looks on it's own too, both of these mascara's I would wear on their own but they both have things I wish the other did more of too. But I can't complain as they are two of the best mascara's I have ever used! And there's an alternative for both high end and drugstore if you are wanting longer and thicker lashes or the appearance of more lashes, hence me calling this my 'lash multiplying trio' But I love them both and I know they are both hyped about a lot but they are two products I definitely agree with the hype over, they truly deserve to be hyped over!

October Favourites

Now is October Favourites time! I felt like the last month went so incredibly fast, but I'm excited to tell you all about these products I have been loving and most of them are all makeup so if you love makeup, which I assume you must do if you're reading my beauty blog! So keep reading if you want to hear more about these glorious makeup and one bath product favourites!

The first two I'm loving are my two Mac lipsticks the one on the left is the colour 'Russian Red' which I love as it's the most lovely red it's not too bright or too dark, but I would describe it as a classic red colour which is great for important events/parties as it's matte and lasts a long time and looks sophisticated and really pretty on so many skin tones and the colour being more of a muted colour which isn't too bright just looks stunning and I love it!
The second is 'Rebel' which I'm sure most bloggers/Youtuber's have heard of as it was hyped about so much last year, I have used this a lot this month as my lips have been quite dry and this isn't matte so it doesn't make my lips even worse, it's a lovely berry colour when one layer is applied to the lips but when two to three coats are applied it looks a lot darker and is a perfect vampy purple lip perfect for autumn and winter!

Next I have been obsessed with snow fairy! A lovely magical shower gel from Lush or at least it just feels and smells magical! It is so super sweet and I love how this is a scent from Lush that they bring out at Christmas but it's still a super girly and perfect product to gift someone at Christmas as a little goes a long way and the scent lingers for so long, and I can't get enough of it as I can't most Christmas' (and about six months after) It is the prettiest pink colour and it's perfect for me as I love anything pink in my bath along with all the lovely pink bath bombs from Lush!

Thirdly I am loving the seventeen Falsify mascara and I'll be honest, I didn't think it would live up to my trusty Maybelline Lash Sensational but it's definitely a close second! for a drugstore mascara it is the bomb and makes my eye lashes (that are so so short may I add) look so much thicker and longer and I don't know how it's so good but it doesn't look fake and unnatural, I think if I did a lot of coats of this it would live up to the 'falsify' term as it just adds loads of length for me and I don't know how but I am LOVING IT!

Now I never thought I would say this but I am in love with this nail polish, it has not left my nails for about 3/4 of this month and I am never obsessed with nail polish much, I just tend to buy ones and are dissapointed with the colours or quality, this one has lasted a good four days on my nails with 2-3 coats which is so good for me as I struggle to get any to last longer than a day without chipping while doing simple daily chores and activities. It is the colour 'Cherry Jubilee' and would you believe this was a free gift with an Avon purchase my mum made and to be honest, I haven't put it down and she's probably wondering where it is, ooops... better put it back soon but if you have the chance the Avon Pro nail + range is such good quality and lasts a lot longer than Barry M and L'Oreal on my nails!

Lastly but totally utterly not the least is my NAKED SMOKY. This palette is just a dream come true and I have loved it especially this month because in the colder weather I can get away with the dark blues and the gun metal shades, which really look nice with a brown or black smokey eye. I love how you can create so many looks with just this one palette there are the easier to were shades and the intense colours so it's perfect for creating something simple and on the more natural side or something a bit more out there!

September Favourites

I thought as I don't even think I've done a favourites post (even if I have) I would do one this month, as I've loved so much! well last month now, considering its October 1st but yeah, so these are the  most 'loveable' (I think that's the word) items I haven't been living without over the past month or so!

So I have the Zoella scrubbing me softly body scrub, The seventeen skin wow highlighter, Garnier micellar water, a beautiful berry red Avon nail polish, the Seventeen Contour Kit and a Makeup Revolution Lip Lava, so keep reading if you want to know why I have been loving them all so very much!
So firstly the Zoella scrubbing me softly, body scrub smells so so lovely, it's not too overpowering like I find some scrubs are and it's really great for prepping my skin for fake tan if I want to use one or even a gradual tan it was features in my Fake Tan Faves post if you want to read that I have a more in depth review of it on there!
To buy it from superdrug I believe it was around £7-8 so it isn't cheap...well for a scrub, but I find a little goes a long way so that's how I justify it and oh the smell of it too! *mmm it smells amazing*

The Seventeen skin wow I have been using for about two weeks now and I'm loving it, I LOVE highlighting at the moment and I feel like I can't wear makeup without it anymore! It makes my makeup look fresh and makes me feel like I look more awake too, if that possible even makes any sense? It can be used as a normal highlight to add a glow to the high points of your face, or it can be mixed with your foundation, or just applied as a primer, I have also loved using it as a primer, it's great for when my skin feels dry as I want it to look more dewy and basically the opposite of dry, to look dewy and to make my skin look better than it feels, especially in the winter weather I think I will be using this a lot!

I have been loving the Garnier micellar water, which let's face it you probably do as well since I swear every has it now haha! It is amazing though but I won't babble on about it as so many people have it would just be a repeat of what you have probably heard already...
All I will say is it's around £5 and it's amazing!

My Avon Nail polish is in 'Cherry Jubilee' it is such a lovely reddy/purple colour and looks so pretty on my nails, it actually looks exactly like the bottle which some nail polishes don't look exactly the same but this does and I'm happy about this as it looks lovely on my nails for a good 4-5 days!

The last Seventeen product in this favourites is the Define and Conquer Contour kit, it is a lovely highlighting and contour duo, the contour colour is lovely, the only downside is mine is in medium and has to be built up quite a lot to show up on my skin, but I love the product when it's on my skin and the highlighter doesn't look fake, it looks quite natural but you can tell you skin is looking a bit more glowy!

My last product for this favourites I have been wearing throughout this month, it is the Makeup revolution Lip Lava in 'Tremor' it's a nice pinky shade, and is like a liquid lipstick but it doesn't dry very quickly, so that means it's moisturising and looks so nice and glossy on but isn't sticky, so it looks like a lipgloss but is very pigmented and is a lovely pinky liquid lipstick and I'm loving it for £2.99 I want to try some more of them!

What are your makeup/skincare or random favourites of the month of September?!

Hair Products I'm Using! + Mini Reviews

Here are the hair products I'm using at the moment! I hate buying hair products mainly because my hair always seems to look the same as before or the product doesn't do what it says! But I am using these three products at the moment, a dry shampoo, a hair mask and a hairspray and let me just tell you why I love them! I will be going through each product and reviewing it, but like a little insight to it so just a little bit about each of them and why I love them so far!

The Dove Dry Shampoo: I love as it instantly adds a little bit of volume to my hair which is what I need most of the time my hair can look a little flat and lifeless! It also is a great dry shampoo, if ever I want to miss a day of washing my hair if I spray a small amount into the roots of my hair to make it look a lot nicer and it really does make me feel better, the smell is lovely almost like I've freshly washed my hair which is nice when it feels well, not so nice! It also doesn't leave a white cast in my hair which is great because I don't like using the ones that come out white unless I would leave a white patch in my hair! ... that wouldn't be a great look for me! I would give it an 8.5/10.

*The Nanokeratin RePlenish colour preserving mask: I have been trialing for the past few days now since I've never tried a hair mask, well at least I don't think I have, I can't really compare it to others I've used as I haven't! I have tried out the colour preserving mask and my hair felt really nice after I had used it, a lot more silkier than usual, but what I love from a treatment mask, as I love the feeling of nourished and healthy hair. I feel it kept my hair colour looking fresh and the colours in my hair looked nicely blended together, sometimes the colour looks quite bold! As I'd recently had a few colours put through my hair I feel like it really helped to repair the parts of my hair where the colour may have damaged or stripped my hair of the natural oils (I think anyway!) Anyway I really like it and I would love to purchase the full size. If I had to rate it I would give it a 8/10! Really good product!

You can buy it here at www.nanokeratinsystem.com
The Mask I used: Colour Preserving Mask

Lastly my Tresemme Extra Hold Hairspray: It has been a current obsession or addiction of mine, I used to use cheaper types of hairspray but as my mum is a hairdresser, she swears by the Tresemme hairsprays and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, and I've been missing out, it holds my hair in place so well, not like any other hairspray I've used, I can see myself only using this hairspray from now on as a little bit really does keep my hair staying put and I strongly believe it sticks to it's 'Extra Hold' claims because my hair looks exactly the same at the end of the day as it does when I first apply the hairspray! LOVE IT! I would definitely have to give this hairspray a 9.5/10 but I don't think I will find a better hairspray than this one!

My Fake Tan Favourites

On the rare occasional of me fake tanning, I will use these products. They are the best I have found so far to give the perfect streak free tan, I would go as far as calling them my holy grail fake tan products.

Obviously, I have only included two fake tans, the Bondi Sands foam tan and the Cocoa Brown tan which is also a foam. The product I use to prep my skin for the fake tan which is a new favourite is the Zoella Scrubbing me softly body scrub, I have only been using it for a few weeks but I already know it's a staple for when I want to fake tan and a little goes a long way which I am so pleased about.

My Favourite Bath and Bodycare Products

I am a definitely 100% a Makeup obsessed teenage girl, but for today I am going to be sharing some of my favourite Bath and Body care products. I am going to try and keep it short and sweet so here it goes!

The Last product is one I received as a present from a friend I think she originally bought it from Superdrug, it is a very tube so will last a long time. It is a shower creme and feels so luxury on my skin as the scent is a sweet vanilla and I love anything Vanilla.  It is perfect for showers or baths because I find the scent is so relaxing, I have also heard great things about the rest of the 'Cafe de Bain' range so this product definitely tempts me to try more!

My Top Spring/Summer Lipsticks

This post is going to be my most used/reached for lipsticks, which I will be wearing throughout Spring and Summer 2015! I hope this blog post is of some interest to other ladies who are obsessed with lipstick because well I am and I'm not ashamed to admit it!

I have a mixture of Bright, Subtle and how I would describe as 'My lips but Nicer' choices for Spring/ Summer. I love pairing brighter lips with summery outfits which can sometimes need a lipstick to either brighten or keep it simple, I have made my choices around this as I usually pick lipsticks based upon my outfit!

Left to right: Avon Extra Lasting lipstick in Cappuccino, Rimmel London Kate Moss lipstick in 16, Revlon Colourburst matte balm in Elusive, Rimmel Moisture renew lipstick in 200 Latino.

1. Avon Extra Lasting lipstick in cappuccino - This lipstick on me is quite a dark nude, which I love!It looks simple and doesn't wash me out,

My Skincare Essentials| For Combination skin

The thing I always struggle with is finding skincare products that will help make my acne-prone skin soft and supple without drying my skin out. The worst thing I find for me when doing my makeup and foundation clings around my blemishes as some foundations I use need to be powdered to take away too much shine, but most of the time if I do it just looks like an awful cakey-mess! especially when I'm trying to cover nasty blemishes I don't want them standing out more!

These are a few products I find are really good at banishing these problems on my skin but also are affordable and aren't harsh on the skin.

Favourites of March!

Hi Everyone, Today as it is nearing the end of March, I thought it would be a good idea to make a March favorites blog post, I always love watching favorites videos though YouTube, but I thought it would be great fun to do on my blog. I have a mixture of makeup and skincare products to share with you today!

Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot

I found this was such a lovely gift, as you get to try five of Benefits box blushes, and the infamous 'Hoola Bronzer' you also get to try a mini of

the 'Watts up' highlighter which the full size comes in a stick form with a blending applicator on the bottom, this highlighter is lovely and adds a nice sheen to your cheeks, it can be applied naturally or built up to be quite bold which i really like as you can use it for creating a natural dewy
