I have tried and tested a lot of blushes throughout my time of being obsessed with makeup and I thought it would be nice to share my favourites as this is the time of year I start using blush more and the weather is getting a little nicer!
The Blushes in the picture above:
I am not usually the biggest blush fan usually, I only really use bronzer most of the time but recently in the past year or so, I have found these three blushes which I am in love with, and have been since so I thought I'd share my favourites as I never thought I could suit blush but I have found the perfect ones for me!
The first I will tell you about is the Benefit Rockateur Blush which is the biggest one in the picture to the left and it's so complementary towards my skin tone, I had wanted to try a rose gold-y coloured blush for ages after seeing so many people talk about the Nars blush in 'orgasm' so I decided to try the Benefit rocketeur which I picked up in duty free before my last holiday, this past summer and it's been used so much since and I haven't even hit near the pan which makes me so happy!
It retails for £23.50 but it's probably my favourite blush ever on me which is a huge claim but I'm always reaching for it and I don't think many blushes can come close for the love I have for this one.
The next blush I have is the Sleek Blush in Rose Gold which is on the bottom of the photo I took. I really love this as a spring/summer blush it's a lot more summery than the others as it looks quite bright, I wouldn't say it's bright but it's a lot more of a flush on your cheeks and is very pigmented so a light hand is definitely needed with this product! I don't really use it in any other months apart from spring and summer as most of the time I don't want to look rosy because I have quite a lot of redness from blemishes on my skin and I don't want to bring out the redness after I've covered it up if you see what I mean. It's gorgeous and a perfect shade if you love your pinks. It also has lovely shimmers in it, they are noticeable but aren't over the top which I was worried about at first but this blush just adds a little bit of shimmer which creates a healthy glow.
This blush is the cheapest one at £4.49 which is amazing for the pigmentation and quality of this blush! It can be bought from Superdrug or Boots if you are in the UK.
The last which is obviously in the right corner of the photo is the Max Factor Creme Puff blush in Seductive Pink. It's a gorgeous in-between of a pink/mauve blush it is super natural on my skin tone and lasts for a long time throughout the day- like the other two blushes mentioned. I haven't tried any other products from Max factor apart from a foundation when I tried this and it's made me think that I definitely need to try more from them as this is a gorgeous colour and complements my skin so much, whether I have a tan or not I would use this!
This one retails for £8.99 which I think is a fair price but if I didn't know how good it was I probably wouldn't have bought it but as I bought it in a 3 for 2 offer in Boots a while back I got it and I'm so glad I did!
I really want to try a few more high end blushes so what are your favourites? I'm tempted to try the Nars Blush in Love Joy and the Charlotte Tilbury blush in First Love, which I have linked below if you are intrigued to what they look like!
